We are often asked to trace people for a variety of reasons, including absconded tenants, errant debtors, long-lost school chums, beneficiaries of wills, and missing family members, to name but a few.
We are often asked to trace people for a variety of reasons, including: absconded tenants, errant debtors, long lost school chums, beneficiaries of wills, missing family members, to name but a few.
Occasionally, tracing people, or assets, is a relatively easy process. Often, though, it can be a lengthy process where we hit many stumbling points. One of the biggest challenges we face is the restrictiveness of the Data Protection Act 2018.
The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK’s implementation of the EU’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and it’s particularly important that private investigators, such as A H Jones Investigators, adhere to the strict parameters laid out.
While the Act does present challenges, we ensure we always work lawfully and transparently. That way, our clients can feel reassured that they are working with an agency that not only understands the law, but also respects it.
